Diary of Production
Week 1:
I’ve started off calibrating ideas into a mind map trying to discover what I wanted my documentary project to be on, I’ve also looked into different researching methods to help me discover on an idea.
Week 2:
By week 2, I have chosen my project idea (Family Documentary Photography/Photojournalism). I then started looking at Books, journals, blogs and other research methods on my chosen them for documentary.
Week 3- 7:
Started creating my blog, adding the relevant work I had found on photographers who pursued in this area of photography.
I started on planning my photoshoot – Getting inspiration from other photographers, finding family members or other non relation family members who I could photograph. And finding out if there free in the easter break. (as this is the only time I could shoot). During the easter break I took about 4 different test shoots. During that time I scanned through my images I had took and started making contact sheets and adding them to the blog.
Week 8:
In week 8 after the eater break. I started my post production stage. Started collecting my best Images i preferred and started editing and seeing what worked the best. Using ‘Adobe Lightroom’ and Adobe Photoshop’.
Week 9:
Finished the blog, touched up my final 6 images I had selected. Got them printed at the ‘University Printing services’.
Mounted my Final Images on to mount board which I purchased at ‘Rudducks’.
